Celtic Warrior Hoop Earrings

Bold, flowing and full of handmade character, these Celtic Warrior hoop earrings are handcrafted in my Northumbrian workshop from bright Argentium 940 Sterling Silver.

Each hoop begins as a tapered silver form, wider at the front and narrowing towards the back for a comfortable fit. I then create each individual silver swirl by hand and fuse it directly onto the surface of the hoop, building up the flowing Celtic-inspired pattern one element at a time.

The result is a substantial pair of silver hoops with an organic, slightly ancient feel, inspired by Celtic metalwork and warrior jewellery but designed to be easy to wear today.

The spiral is one of the most enduring forms found in Celtic art, often associated with movement, continuity and the cycles of life. I’ve used those flowing shapes across the surface of the hoops to create something that feels rooted in Celtic design without looking overly traditional.

I particularly love working with Argentium Silver for pieces like these. Its naturally bright colour gives the hoops a clean, contemporary finish and beautifully highlights the raised fused detail.

Because every swirl is individually made and fused by hand, no two pairs are completely identical. Those tiny differences are part of what makes each pair genuinely handcrafted.

Care instructions for Argentium Silver

Argentium Silver is low maintenence, easy to care for and simple to keep clean.

Simply wipe with a soft cloth or for more intricate pieces, wash in warm soapy water, then rinse and dry immediately to avoid water marks.

Wiping with a Polishing Cloth (Argentium Silver Care Clothes are available) will help to maintain Argentium Silvers beautiful lustre an shine.
