Description

Inspired by one of the most enduring symbols in Celtic design, these handmade Triskele stud earrings are created in my Northumbrian workshop from bright Argentium 940 Sterling Silver.

Each of the three spirals is individually hand wrought, shaped and fused, so the finished studs have the slight character and individuality that comes from being made entirely by hand rather than cast or mass produced. The flowing triple-spiral design gives them a traditional Celtic influence while the simple polished silver keeps them contemporary and easy to wear.

The Triskele, or triple spiral, is an ancient motif found throughout Celtic art. Its three flowing forms have been given many meanings over time and are often associated with ideas such as past, present and future; life, death and rebirth; or the continuing cycles of nature and life.

I make each little spiral individually before bringing the three elements together through fusing. This means no two pairs will ever be completely identical — one of the details I love most about genuinely handcrafted jewellery.

Made from Argentium Silver, these earrings have the beautiful bright white appearance associated with this higher-purity sterling silver alloy, along with excellent resistance to tarnishing.

Care instructions for Argentium Silver

Argentium Silver is low maintenence, easy to care for and simple to keep clean.

Simply wipe with a soft cloth or for more intricate pieces, wash in warm soapy water, then rinse and dry immediately to avoid water marks.

Wiping with a Polishing Cloth (Argentium Silver Care Clothes are available) will help to maintain Argentium Silvers beautiful lustre an shine.

- All orders take 1 to 3 days to prepare in the workshop for posting. If you need something sooner please get in touch to see if this is possible.

- All UK orders over £45 include free tracked postage

- Please be aware orders over £100 may require a signature on delivery
