Celtic Silver Hoop Earrings

Part of my Essential Collection, these handcrafted Celtic hoop earrings are designed as an easy-to-wear everyday piece with a little more character than a traditional plain silver hoop.

Each pair is individually handmade in my Northumbrian workshop from Argentium 940 Sterling Silver, with a woven, interlaced centre inspired by the flowing lines and knotwork found throughout Celtic design. The softly overlapping silver gives the hoops texture and movement while keeping the overall design simple enough to wear every day.

Choose from a Satin or Matt finish, both of which beautifully highlight the handmade texture and detail of the silver.

Argentium Silver has a beautifully bright, clean colour and excellent tarnish resistance, making it a lovely choice for jewellery designed to be worn regularly. I particularly love using it for my Celtic-inspired designs because the silver allows me to create flowing forms while keeping the finished piece contemporary rather than overly traditional.

These little hoops take inspiration from the interwoven patterns of Celtic jewellery, where continuous lines have long represented connection, continuity and the intertwining paths of life. My version is deliberately understated — a hint of Celtic heritage translated into a modern silver hoop.

Because every pair is made and finished by hand, there may be tiny variations between earrings. For me, that's part of the character of genuinely handmade jewellery.

Care instructions for Argentium Silver

Argentium Silver is low maintenence, easy to care for and simple to keep clean.

Simply wipe with a soft cloth or for more intricate pieces, wash in warm soapy water, then rinse and dry immediately to avoid water marks.

Wiping with a Polishing Cloth (Argentium Silver Care Clothes are available) will help to maintain Argentium Silvers beautiful lustre an shine.
