Amethyst Gemstone Bar Bracelet – Handmade Argentium Silver

Rich violet natural Amethyst meets handcrafted silver in this adjustable gemstone bar bracelet, individually made in my Northumbrian workshop.

The bracelet is strung with beautiful faceted African Amethyst beads, approximately 4mm wide, chosen for their natural variations in purple tone and the lovely flashes of light created by their faceted surfaces. At the centre sits a handmade Argentium 940 Sterling Silver bar, individually textured by hand to give the silver a softly tactile finish and make each bracelet just a little different.

Designed to be comfortable and versatile, the bracelet is fully adjustable from approximately 6.5 to 8 inches (16.5–20.3cm). The Argentium Silver extension chain is finished with a small handmade silver charm, while a lobster clasp gives a secure and easy-to-use closure.

Natural Amethyst

Amethyst has been treasured for centuries for its beautiful purple colouring, from soft lilac through to deeper violet tones. It is traditionally associated with calm, clarity and balance, making it a meaningful gemstone as well as a beautiful one to wear.

Because these are natural stones, subtle variations in colour, markings and clarity are part of their character rather than flaws. No two bracelets will ever look completely identical.

Handmade Argentium Silver

I make the central silver bar by hand from Argentium 940 Sterling Silver, adding the surface texture individually before assembling the bracelet. Argentium has a particularly bright, clean appearance and excellent tarnish resistance, which works beautifully alongside colourful natural gemstones.

The little charm at the end of the extension chain is handmade too — a small finishing detail that carries the handcrafted feel right around the bracelet.

Care instructions for Argentium Silver

Argentium Silver is low maintenence, easy to care for and simple to keep clean.

Simply wipe with a soft cloth or for more intricate pieces, wash in warm soapy water, then rinse and dry immediately to avoid water marks.

Wiping with a Polishing Cloth (Argentium Silver Care Clothes are available) will help to maintain Argentium Silvers beautiful lustre an shine.
